Since sister Emmanuelle's retirement, her « egyptian sister » has been looking after the Zabaleen (meaning « the people of trash »). For more than 50 years, these men, bended in two, surmounted by a kind of hod, travel through Cairo, an 18 million inhabitant megalopolis. Who are they ? Where are they going ? What are they doing ?

Crossing the Himalayas with antediluvian bikes (the famous British Royal Enfield 500 of the 50s, now manufactured in Mumbai, India): this is the bet of a few enthusiasts and mountain bike. Hundreds of abandonned haciendas are an extroardinary showcase of romantic ruins. Built as magnificient palaces during the sisal production last century -pick was in 1916- they have been completely let down after the arrival of synthetic fibers in the 50's. Today, there are in ruins, sometimes invaded by nature, but incredibly beautiful as they are, full of memories and splendid colors: walls, columns, arches...
