The Somalian Prime Minister, Ali Mohamed Gedi, left Baïdoa in the afternoon for the outskirts of Mogadischo where he met customary leaders before the entrance of the governmental forces into the capital. Ten days prior to the fall of the Islamic courts, Thomas Dandois left for Somalia where he witnessed the last days of the masters of Mogadischo.
