Strong sensation's lovers, spotless infinite spaces, snow-covered paths, or inaccessible mountain's lovers, Skidoo is for you. If nowadays, road network have drastically improved, in the thirties and forties the situation was quite different.
At that time, a French Canadian built the first snowmobile and consequently changed completely people's habits, especially in the countryside. In 1937, Joseph-Armand Bombardier, really started manufacturing the snowmobiles commercially. Contrary to what many people believe, he did not create flexible rubber tracked vehicles but rather took advantage of the incredible invention of French engineer Adolphe Kégresse, and managed to turn it into a product well-suited for snow. Adolphe Kégresse had invented that propelling system so Tsar Nicolas could hunt wolf in winter.
