150 miles north of Quebec city, Lake Saint-John is nestling in a mountainous bosky bower. It stretches its waters so far that you could easily presume it is an inland sea. You are mistaken though because it flows into the Saint-Lawrence River through the Saguenay River and Fjord.

At Kaiping and its surroundings in the province of Canton (Guangzhou, South China), subtropical region, a country of monsoon stand architectures fortified towers quite amazing, called Diaolou. These towers shuttered, usually topped terraces and domes of Baroque inspiration European overlooking bucolic landscapes and wetlands where farmers still work with bare hands in ricefield.

To be a "boy Medina", a local youth, is at the same time an honor and a duty. An unknown good-for-nothing would fast be tracked down, the Baye Fall stay up ! Medina also has its Kings : "Simbel" or "Gaïndés", the lion-kings. Every time they invest a sector, fear, joy, jubilation, even madness spread into the streets. All began with a legend, a myth, a story like some griots tell in the villages of the bush.
